EL RENO OK Jan 21 1978 -- Rock Island GP38-2 4336, named City of Rock Island, GP9 4485 and GP38-2 4316, named Garland L. Rucker, are on the move. In the background is the El Reno shop building. EMD built the 4336 in November 1976. In became Missouri Pacific 2274 after the Rock Island shutdown and then became UP 2274 on Nov 13 1986. On Oct. 3 2000 UP renumbered the unit to 774. Up retired the unit on April 22 2008 and it became GMTX 2145. (Roster information from thedieselshop.us, rits.org and utahrails.net)
