PRR 4920, GG-1, 1964
Description:
WIL-ALT-64. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Peonsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona on 03 July 1964. Shown here is PRR engine #4920, a GG-1 built in Juniata during July of 1942. It has pulled a 16-car$passenger train from New York and Philadelphia into the Harrisburg Passenger Station, and is about to uncouple. Three Diesels (headed by PRR engine #5838) and four sore cars will soon couple on, and then the now-20-car passenger train will head west to Altoona, Pittsburgh, and points West.

Regretably, the numbers of the other two GG-1's are not recorded. (My)train is moving from right to left.)
